Tributes were paid to Father of the Nation ‘Mahatma Gandhi’ on his death anniversary.

JKPPS Jammu organised a special assembly to commemorate the Martyrdom Day of Mahatma Gandhi. The event commenced with traditional lp lighting. Rich tributes were paid to Father of the Nation through a cultural programme. The students and teachers revered Bapu through soulful renditions Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram and Vaishnav Jan. The life stories and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi were shared with students by teachers and students. A silence for two minutes was observed by all at 11 a.m.
The Principal Mrs Renuka Guleria, addressed the students. She highlighted the values of truthfulness, hardwork, humanity and non voilence and their relevance in the present day scenario. The students and teachers pledged to imbibe the values taught by the Father of The Nation.
