Culmination of English Week

Today JKPPS Jammu culminated a week long Fest of English Language 2019-20 from 22 April to 27 April 2019. The English week remained a kaleidoscope of carefully planned myriad innovative activities, category wise, focusing on basic four skill or Listening , Speaking, Reading and Writing. The energetic Kindergarteners participated in Rhyme Recitation, Show and Tell, Story Telling and Calligraphy Competitions. The students from classes 1-12 participated in Individual Competitions like Calligraphy, Declamation, Essay Writing, Extempore, Poem Recitation, and Story Telling under Junior, Middle, Senior and Senior Secondary categories. Whereas the InterHouse Group Competitions were conducted for competitions like Skit- Shakespeare Dramas, Spell Bee, and Debate. The faculty of English Department took active part in making the event successful. Honing the LSRW skills in a creative and interesting manner encouraged the students to take part actively and enthusiastically. Their excitement and zeal was the best reward for the teachers.
