JKPPS Jammu celebrates Basant Panchami and Martyrs Day
Today the students and staff of the school celebrated Basant Panchami by praying to Goddess Sarswati. A special assembly was conducted to mark the occasion. Poem recitations, speeches, melodious Vandana and a small skit made the occasion vibrant.
The school also celebrated Marty's Day to remember the great people who laid their lives for the nation. The event commenced by paying a heartfelt tribute to the Father of The Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. A role play on our great Freedom Fighters who raised their own slogans. A patriotic song made the emotions of patriotism come alive.
The principal Mrs Renuka Guleria brought out the uniqueness of Indian culture where every season is celebrated by the society as a whole. She also motivated the students to pay tribute to the martyrs by lighting a lamp.
At JKPPS students will be given tools that will allow them to feel passionate about all the endeavors that they will apply in different areas of curriculum.
